Jordan (Snelling) Tate is the Economic Development Manager for the AWS East Region, supporting the company’s infrastructure expansion in the Commonwealth. Tate previously served in a similar role supporting Amazon’s physical expansion throughout the Mid-Atlantic. In these roles, she works with policymakers, economic development organizations, workforce development agencies, and utilities to ensure successful market entry, expansion, and post-launch operations, as well as ongoing community engagement.

 

Prior to joining Amazon in 2022, Jordan served as the Vice President of Incentives for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership where she led negotiations and oversight for the Commonwealth's discretionary incentive offerings. Jordan holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Richmond and an M.U.R.P from Virginia Commonwealth University.
