Brian Willey is the Director of 401K Retirement Plans for Incisive Financial Group (IFG) and Business Benefits Group (BBG). Brian started in the financial industry in 1993 and uses his wide-ranging experience to ensure alignment to client goals and objectives. Internally, Brian is responsible for retirement plan administration, BBG marketing efforts, and new client acquisition as well as mentoring.

 

Brian has lived in Northern Virginia and worked in the DMV for 20 plus years. His first role was with Citibank where he oversaw branches in Georgetown and Fairfax while assisting with expansion in Fairfax, McLean, Manassas, and Sterling. In 2011, Brian changed industries by moving into the IT field with such companies as Three Pillar Global, Compuware, and Human Circuit. His roles capitalized on his networking skills, approach to requirements discovery, operational performance, and continuous client interaction to ensure satisfaction.

 

With his growing experience in financial services, banking, business banking, mobile app development, enterprise app development, and video IT, Brian returned to financial services in 2023 with BBG whose clients are predominately small to medium sized IT government contractors.

 

In the Northern Virginia business community, Brian’s involvement supports growth and connections. He is the current President for Northern Virginia’s Society of Human Resource Management (NOVA SHRM) with 780 HR professional members. He supports the SECAF (Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum) membership committee as well as the AFCEA NOVA, Brian membership Committee.

 

Over the last 20 years, Brian has volunteered with the Dulles Regional Chamber, Leadership Fairfax (LFI), Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), and Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). With Dulles, Brian was a Membership Ambassador to support new members. For LFI, Brian held positions as Development Chair, ELI Mentor Chair, and, most recently, Advancement Chair. Brian volunteered with FCPS for ten years on the Supervisor’s Business and Community Advisory Council and Budget Task Force. For the FCPS Board, Brian served on the Human Resource Advisory Committee, Chair for 2016-17. With NVTC, Brian served on the Technology Innovation Committee which created and held annual events such as Destination Innovation in partnership with the Washington Post.
