Lisa is a seasoned senior executive renowned for her extensive expertise and proven capabilities in leadership, negotiations, management, and communications. She is widely acknowledged as a leader in cybersecurity, corporate growth, and business transformation.

 

Lisa is known for driving strategic growth and organizational transformation. In her current role as Chief Information Officer at MTSI, she is leading infrastructure modernization during a critical phase of rapid expansion. She has realigned the company’s technology strategy to support the accelerated adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence—ensuring innovation that occurs in a secure, scalable environment. Her leadership fosters a culture of entrepreneurial agility, enabling the organization to thrive in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

 

With a strong track record in cybersecurity, Lisa has spearheaded the establishment of Leidos' first comprehensive commercial cybersecurity practice and earned recognition as a Forrester Leader Wave for Managed Security Services. As the CIO for Dewberry, she strategically aligned corporate plans for NIST 800-171 compliance and successfully implemented a risk management program. Throughout her career, she has effectively managed several notable security incidents, including defending against a ransomware attack without data loss or payment.

 

Throughout her career, Lisa has garnered a host of significant achievements. She received the 2022 CapitalCIO of the Year ORBIE award and was a national finalist in 2023. Additionally, in 2022, Lisa was honored with the George Mason University School of Business Prominent Patriot Award and received recognition at Leidos for her Corporate Collaboration Award in developing a new commercial cyber offering for the healthcare vertical. Her exceptional leadership was further showcased by successfully managing SAIC's largest IDIQ, earning three consecutive 100% award fees, and clinching the SAIC Program Manager for Large Programs of the Year accolade.

 

Lisa holds an MBA from George Mason University and a BS in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

 

Her commitment to workforce development and STEM advocacy is evident through her service on several advisory boards. She is Chair of the George Mason University Women in Business Initiative Board, Co-Chair for GO Virginia Region 7, and a board member of the Northern Virginia Community College Workforce for the Future initiative. Lisa is also a published author; her book, The Joy Factor: Escaping Job Disappointment and Finding Your Dream Career, was released in November 2019.
