Sonja Caison, owner of Caison Janitorial Inc. d/b/a The Cleaning Authority, is known for her commitment to providing superior service within the residential housecleaning market. After graduating from Radford University with a BA degree in Finance and completing her MBA degree in Accounting from George Mason University, she worked at several different companies to include TRW and The NASDAQ Stock Market. She enjoyed her career working in finance and she believed she had acquired the necessary tools to begin her own business.

In November 2003, Ms. Caison purchased the Alexandria territory of The Cleaning Authority franchise. She started with two employees and worked many hours to provide superior customer service to her first housecleaning clients. Due to her superior customer service and strong business skills the company grew to employ over 50 employees. Her company currently services over 700 residential housecleaning customers located in Northern Virginia.

Many of her employees have been employed with the company for several years. With the assistance of her supervisors, she enjoys managing the daily adventures which arise from owning a housecleaning franchise. Her company has won several awards:
