Tina Leone, CPA, CGMA – Chief Executive Officer, Ballston BID
Tina Leone, a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, has more than 20 years of consulting, financial and management experience. She became the CEO of the Ballston BID in December 2011.
Prior to joining the BBID, she was the CEO of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce beginning in July 2009 and earlier was the CEO of The Lorton Arts Foundation for nearly seven years. Ms. Leone held audit, accounting and business consulting positions in various organizations, including Keller Bruner & Company (now RSM) as well as the Department of Defense, Inspector General’s Office.
Ms. Leone is the Chair of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and a member the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPAs. She has an MS in Management Information Systems from George Washington University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
In 2018, Ms. Leone founded Sporting Dog Rescue International and has rescued over 300 hunting dogs from Spain, Greece, and Serbia. She lives in Arlington with her son, Sébastien.
