Todd House
Washington Gas

Todd House serves as the Manager of Economic Development Policy for Washington Gas, a company that provides natural gas to customers in the greater Washington DC region. In this role, he is responsible for integrating marketing, public policy, regulatory, and sustainability functions into an enterprise wide strategy to enhance the long-term growth of Washington Gas.


Prior to joining WGL, Todd served as Government Affairs Manager for Micron Technology, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced semiconductor solutions with facilities around the globe. In this role, Todd was responsible for Micron’s community and government relations at the state, local, and federal level for Micron. While at Micron, Todd negotiated over $40 million in economic development incentives and was the leading force behind the creation of Northern Virginia Community College’s STEM outreach program — SYSTEMIC Solutions.


Todd has worked in various positions in Virginia government, electoral politics, and the private sector. He is recognized as an accomplished professional in navigating policy issues and business opportunities through all levels of government. He has a strong policy background in the areas of advanced manufacturing, energy, health and human services, economic development, and workforce development. Prior to Micron, he worked for MAXIMUS where he managed a national government affairs program.
Todd is a board member of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Tysons Partnership, Washington Airports Task Force, Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, Children’s Science Center Advisory Board, Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board, and the George Mason University Foundation. He also has served on the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s TechPAC, NOVABiz PAC, and the George Mason University Prince William Campus Advisory Board.


Todd is a past Chairman of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce and was instrumental in forming the organization in 2010 through the merger of two long time chamber of commerce. He also served on the Virginia Israel Advisory Board under three gubernatorial administrations. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Leadership Fairfax, and previously served on the boards of Celebrate Fairfax, Inc., Leadership Prince William, and the Arlington County-George Mason University Advisory Board.


Todd is a resident of Virginia and lives in Fall Church, Virginia with his wife, Ellen and two sons. Todd holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in government and politics from George Mason University.
